WILLIAMS (BIRMINGHAM) LTD ENGLISH SILVER OVAL SNUFF BOX 1903
A lovely hinged silver box for storing snuff. The inside retains a light gold wash. On the lid is an engraved eagle with spread wings and a branch in its mouth with the Latin words "Dominus Exaltatio Mea" (Master/Triumph/My) on a banner below it. In nice condition with one slight dent along the side. Easily readable hallmarks on the inside of the lid and on the bottom of the inside. W. B over Ld into a heart Williams (Birmingham) Ltd, Birmingham 1903 hallmark.
Measures 2 3/4 x 3 5/8 inches and 1 inch high.
