A mid 19th century oil on canvas pastoral landscape painting with turkeys and a maiden in the woods. Louis Le Poittevin (b. La Neuville; 1847-1909) is the son of Eugène Modeste Edmond Lepoittevin, a French landscape painter. Louis was a pupil of M. Bouguereau.
