NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN BASKET AND LID
A great hand-crafted jar or bottle form Native American basket with a simple geometric design, lid, and braided handle probably from the Southwest and/or Great Basin area (possibly Pima). It is constructed of non-interlocking stitches, closed spacing; knotted coiled start, and a self coiled rim finish. The attention to detail is incredible. It is very well made and in great condition. Circa early 1900s.
Measures 5 1/4 inches high and 6 1/2 inches in diameter.
