19TH CENTURY PAINTED FIRKIN / SUGAR BUCKET
A nice painted, American, 19th century, firkin / sugar bucket made of pine and decorated with a great dry grained yellow paint. Wooden stave construction with lid, bentwood swing handle affixed with wood buttons, and four single wooden finger bands. In great original condition. End of one finger missing.
Measures 11 1/2 inches high (without handle) and 12 1/4 inches in diameter at the base.
