LARGE SLIP DECORATED REDWARE PLATE
Large Slip Decorated Redware Plate

Early to mid 19th century, lead and manganese slip decorated redware plate, round having a rounded bottom and sides terminating in a coggle decorated rim. The interior of the plate is glazed resulting in an orangish-brown ground with what appears to be the word "All" written in yellow slip script lettering across the plate's center. Significant loss to the yellow slip decoration, few small glaze chips on face of plate.

Measures 12 inches in diameter and 1 7/8 inches high.
