CENTRE COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA PAINT DECORATED BLANKET CHEST
An outstanding Aaronsburg, Centre County, Pennsylvania, blanket chest having a lid and dovetailed case sponge paint decorated in bold brown on ocher with two large tulips on the front over three drawers also sponge decorated ending on an applied dovetailed high bracket base in black. Black trim around lid, above drawers, and around base. Maintains strap hinges and crab lock. Circa 1815.
Measures 29 inches high, 53 1/2 inches long, and 21 inches deep.
