Illustrated in part with drawings by Miller; frontispiece bears glossy photoportrait of Miller by Ina Paulandre. Introduction by Lawrence Durrell. Miller first wrote this appreciation of his painter-friend, Hans Reichel, in 1938 for distribution to a small circle of friends only. This Loujon Press edition (Gypsy Lou Series, #3) is the first printed version, and won awards for typography, type direction, and design at TDC's annual awards show, NY. One of the 1399 copies of the "Cork Edition" out of a total edition of 1524.
