ROYAL COPENHAGEN DENMARK HANDPAINTED FIGURINE
Royal Copenhagen Manufactory was established in Denmark in about 1775 by Frantz Henrich Muller. When bankruptcy threatened in 1779, the Crown took charge. Fine dinnerware and objects of art have been produced since that time. This figurine of a boy with his pet goose is beautifully detailed. Decorated in natural colors and accented in pastel shades for which Royal Copenhagen is known. Marked in green "Royal Copenhagen Denmark" with Crown and three blue wavy lines. Also marked pattern #1857. In excellent condition.
