TALL STEMMED CUT GLASS OPEN COMPOTE
A finely detailed cut glass open compote on a tall notched stem. Six hobstars separated by panels of silver diamonds and fans decorate the 2 1/2 inch deep bowl. Forty-eight points around top edge of bowl that measures eight inches in diameter. Large 32-point hobstar base. Note teardrop in the six-panel stem. The compote measures 12 inches high and rests on a 6 1/2 inch diameter base. Glass is 3/8 inch thick with a wonderful ring when tapped. A small flat flake on one of the points on the base. A great piece of cut glass.
