T&V LIMOGES SEAFOOD DIVIDED TRAY
An exceptional French T&V Limoges divided seafood dish with a finely gilded gold rim and molded medallion handle. Divine underwater sea-life scene, handpainted with fish, shells, and oysters. It bears the Tressemann & Vogt mark 8 (c. 1907-1919) and is artist signed "J. A. Barbour." The oceanic scene is crisp and well detailed. Condition is superb, no damages.
It measures 10 1/2 inches long, 6 inches wide at the top, and 5 1/2 inches wide across the side meant to hold the sauce.
